My Story

I was born in 1977 in Slovenia, then part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia — a system where entrepreneurship and private wealth were limited.

At just 4 years old, when asked what I wanted to be, I answered:
“A millionaire.”

In that environment, that answer alone made me different.

From a young age, I saw the world differently — always identifying problems and instinctively thinking in solutions.

Early Drive & Competitive Spirit

At the age of 6, I discovered dirt biking. Without any prior experience, I entered my first race just days later and placed 3rd.

Over the following years:

  • Won over 150 races

  • Earned 6 championship titles

At the same time, I pursued soccer at a high level:

  • Played for FC Maribor

  • Competed alongside national-level players

I also competed in wrestling and won national championships.

Military Service

Following Slovenia’s independence, I served in the Slovenian military as part of the elite unit:

“Garda” — responsible for presidential protection, protocol duties, and special operations.

This experience strengthened my discipline, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure.

Entrepreneurship Begins

I started my first business at 17, repairing buildings damaged during the war.

I quickly became financially successful — and just as quickly lost everything by the age of 19.

That experience taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:

Business success comes from solving real problems — not just starting companies.

Rebuilding from Zero

Starting again with nothing, I identified an opportunity in retail distribution.

Within one year:

  • Built a chain of 27 stores across 2 countries

  • Employed nearly 200 people

  • Became a millionaire again

Soon after, I lost everything again due to a failed business transaction and external circumstances.

That is when I truly understood:

You only lose if you quit.

Scaling & Industry Success

I rebuilt once again — this time in construction.

By identifying a major inefficiency in the tiling industry, I created a system that allowed projects to be completed significantly faster than competitors.

Within a short period:

  • Built one of the largest operations in the region

  • Led major projects across the country

  • Managed hundreds of workers

Industry Reality & Turning Point

As the business grew, I became exposed to deeper issues within the industry — especially during the 2008 global financial crisis.

Many large companies stopped paying subcontractors, resulting in millions in unpaid work across the sector.

At that time, I made the decision to present evidence related to these practices, involving highly influential individuals.

Shortly after, a series of legal actions were initiated against me.

Based on the timing and circumstances, I firmly believe these actions were targeted and retaliatory, following my decision to speak up.

Relocation to the United States

Due to increasing pressure and the inability to operate freely, I made the decision in 2013 to relocate to the United States.

Legal Matters & Transparency

Four cases were brought against me, primarily related to:

  • Commercial disputes during the financial crisis

  • Administrative and accounting timing differences

  • Standard industry practices

These matters were reviewed internationally:

  • U.S. Federal Courts declined extradition

  • Several cases have been resolved or corrected

  • A current matter is being addressed through the European Court of Human Rights

My position is clear:

I have not committed any criminal wrongdoing.
These cases stem from business disputes and systemic industry issues.
I believe certain actions were motivated by personal and political factors.

I share this because I believe in full transparency.

Building Again in the United States

Since moving to the United States, I have continued to build and scale businesses across multiple industries, including:

  • Entertainment and family brands

  • Logistics and transportation

  • Smart vending and retail technology

  • Global business platforms

I also served as CEO of one of the world’s largest customer reward programs and became a co-founder of Booster, a platform positioned for global growth.

Today

Over the past 30 years, I have:

  • Built 21 companies across 7 countries

  • Worked with and employed over 3,500 people

  • Consulted for more than 30 companies worldwide

  • Spoken at hundreds of events globally

My Philosophy

Find real problems
Build real solutions
Move fast
Stay resilient
Never give up

Final Thought

My journey has not been easy, but it is exactly those challenges that shaped who I am today.

Everything I have built, lost, and rebuilt has defined how I approach business, people, and opportunity.

And this is only the beginning.
